Supervision & Consultation
Play Therapy Supervision
Provisionally licensed mental health professionals (i.e., Licensed Associate Counselor, LMSW, etc.) may provide play therapy services and work towards their RPT credential under the supervision of an RPT-S. Credentialing as an RPT requires 350 hours of supervised play therapy experience, with 1 hour of supervision per every 10 hours of direct client contact (5 observed sessions), and 150 hours of play therapy instruction.

1 hour individual: $100
1 hour group (2-6 supervisees): $95
(Max 10 hrs accepted by APT)
1 hour individual in group (2-3 supervisees per group): $95
(focus is on individuals supervisees; no limit for APT)
Group supervision is dependent upon member availability.
Discounts are available for new professionals up to 1 year post graduation.
Play Therapy Consultation
Consultation is appropriate for independently licensed mental health professionals (i.e, LPC, LCSW, etc.) who need RPT-S supervision to attain their RPT credential, or for any professional who wants a single session consulting about a play therapy case or play therapy in general. (Note: APT requires 35 supervision/consultation hours and 5 observed play therapy sessions.) We offer both in-person and virtual consultation.
30 minute consultation session: $60
1 hour session: $100
Continued sessions: $100/hr
Play Therapy Workshop for company
Play Therapy workshops are available to any organization or company looking to increase their understanding of play therapy or implement play therapy based techniques into their work with children or families.
